Heres a little trick to get some urban sessions without snow.

1) Find plastic bin
2) Take lid from the bin
3) Place your shoes on the lid and trace the outline
4) Cut out and ducktape the plastic to your shoes.

I forgot what this was called, but fun times were had. You can get some legit sessions on short down rails.

Op do this and you won't be able to think about your problems or you will die. This looks sketchy AF but if you can't make sense out of the world why not risk it all in the name of weird jibbing.


To answer your original question I have no idea what is so great about skiing but don't question what works. The truth is skiing is way more fun than you even remember. Get out there and you will see it was worth it. Hopefully you live someplace where you can just strap your skis on your back and go for a long hike but if you have to wait for colder weather it will still be worth the wait just hang in there.
