Moment Skis Discussion Thread

vermontanaI think DW104 would be better for this with their edge hold - I have WC101s and I love them but they're really like big park skis more than low tide all mtn skis. They're super fun and playful for moguls and side hits but get a bit squirrely pushing into them on icy groomers.

if you’re looking for more of the same feeling as the 101 then I’d say go wc108. Going to feel very similar just a -6 instead of 5. Gaining some float as well. But the overall skiing characteristics is similar to the 101.

if you want more variety and a more playful ski I’d say go meridian for the full rocker. Like i said for me personally I find the meridian a lot more fun overall. If I already had a 101 I’d 100% go meridian.

I had the 108 prior to purchasing the meridian so that was just being added to the quiver. But I also don’t have the 101. If I had to sell one of the two I’d be selling the 108.

And its hard to imagine a ski being *more* playful than the Wildcat

I may end up just getting the Dynastar M Free 108 because I can get it extremely cheap through work, even though I'd prefer a Moment ski by far

PartyBullshiitGhost trains are rocker with triple camber. Meridians full rocker only. Meridians are a good bit more playful than wildcats. The rocker just makes them pivot non stop.
