maaatttI know that most moment offerings will do just fine as the snow isn't all that different from the Sierras, but want to know what frequent Baker skiers are using
I ride the deathwish 112 at Cypress and occasionally Whistler, I think the snow packs are pretty consistent between those places and Baker. Typically higher moisture content than Sierras but not a lot different. The skis rip in the fresh, slush, lumpy crud, mashed potatoes. They're fine on the firmer rain crust and refreeze hardpack type stuff but don't carve it up like a narrower more cambered ski could potentially.
