It's kinda like a metaphor but literal. The omnipresence of our lord means that Jesus is inside of you. Jesus "walked" on water and you are supposed to emulate that behavior. You can try to walk out in the ocean or water ski or whatever but god knows that snow is literally water so skiing is just as good.

TLDR Jesus loves you and skiing.
