Newschoolers Fantasy Football Money League V.7

Football season is right around the corner and there is nothing better than some good ol newschoolers fantasy football. TheBearJew is stepping down from commissioner and I will be taking over for the season. The league will be a $25 dollar buy in, same rules as last year. 12 man league, snake draft, half point (0.5) PPR. For payment, we take PayPal, Venmo or Cash App.

Here is the list of participants from last year who have priority to return for this upcoming season. If there is an opening we will select from the waitlist to fill those vacancies. So if you are trying to get in on the fun make sure you post in the thread and remember it's first come first serve.

Guys I’m really sorry for the constant changes to the league but is there anyway we can do the draft on the 30th at 9:00pm est. If this is more of an inconvenience for everyone then we will keep the original date of the 29th at 9:00 EST. Please let me know what you all think

eheathYeah i cant remember, but 1st, 2nd 3rd and regular season winner is usually the setup for most leagues but we can do whatever we want


Only reason I think we should do that is with a smaller buy-in its a lot less of a pot to go around. You start spreading winnings to 4 people and 1st doesnt get much. At least thats my thoughts.

30th 9, 930, 10 all work. Whatever works for the majority. 10est is the latest id want to start though

ok - 30th works for us- lets get it scheduled in the ESPN thing once the time is finalized--any of the times mentioned on the 30th work for us.

Can you do 90 for the first round and 60 after that? If not I'd say just do 60 all around.

We could always push it til next week after labor day, basically any day but the 3rd works for me, I have a draft on tuesday at 9pm est.

I have class Monday tuesday Thursday evenings, Monday is till 9:30 est, Tuesday thurs till 9 PM est

You guys are ridiculous. We’re a “no” for August 31st and September 1st. Prefer not to do it on Labor Day Monday but if that’s what works for people then whatever. Would prefer to do weekday after work. We had a babysitter lined up for tomorrow- come on guys!

If you guys want to see your draft pick order, go to the fantasy app, select my team and then click on the clock thats located on the right side of the screen. By the way, you can trade your draft slot with someone else but I am not sure how you can do it though. I think it will only allow it to be done an hour before the draft. If you are having troubles just message me, I'll be checking NS frequently. Also, if you know anyone in the league who isn't active on newschoolers please let them know the draft is tomorrow night. Good luck all and I will see you tomorrow night.

I don't understand the hype... He had one phenomenal season and all I hear from my friends is that he is an elite quaterback. Statistically he doesn't come close to a top 5 quaterback in the league.

as much as you're not really supposed to play your starters a whole lot during the preseason, last night was a prime example of what happens when you don't play them at all. Reffing was atrocious, though.
