finderThe problem was that a lot of them showed really brutal crashes, which turns parents off. I was sailing in a regatta (Lasers) that there was local news doing a story on, and after seeing a boat capsize, was asking if the sailor was injured in the accident like it was a severe car crash. To a sailor, it was clearly not anything serious, but to someone who did not know what they were talking about, seeing a boat tip over in 25kts of wind seemed pretty gnarly. I'm sure Windells got some negative feedback from parents and saw that it could have potentially lost them business.
