Long story short my car is gone and I need one until August 18th when I go to college. I thought about buying some piece of shit off craigslist but I would rather rent or lease a decent car for a month until I'm gone. Anybody know the best website (or place in Pittsburgh) that would rent a car to an 18 year old? The biggest problem to get around is my age, anything helps thanks
Best bet is get a bus pass or have your parents rent it in their name and let you drive. You're gonna get screwed with young driver fees and that's if they even let you rent in the first place.

My car is gone because I got in a huge fight with my parents and moved out so that won't work lol.
just make a reservation online with a rental car company through like orbitz and say you're 25. Show up, give them your ID and hope they don't look at your birthday or the system doesn't flag it. It might work, you could try it all over town until it did.
Post an ad in facebook marketplace or craigslist... I've seen it done multiple times with no issues. All the people involved were like 24-27 though. Rentals are expensive as hell. You'd be surprised how many people have extra whips sitting around and go for it.

Or look on craiglist/ask friends on facebook for a cheap car. If you're just driving local something in the 3-550 range could hold up fine. Might even be able to get a freebie.
I've never had to rent long term but I can't see it being that cost effective. Especially if you're 18 and on your own for the first time.
