I can't get TGR to work on my phone. Works on my ipad and on the PC though. Not as rad as NS but more active and also regionals are dead here.

It's not even that his son's being forced into it, it's that we're being forced to bear witness to it. This is a fucking 10(?) year old kid who's about to be in a full on TGR movie. TGR used to mean something, right, they've made badass movies with skiers like: Candide, Seth Morrison, Sage Cattabriga, Erik Roner, etc etc etc. I'd put money that this fucking 10 year old gets more footage in the flick than a lot of other athletes. Seriously, I bet this kid's got more in the movie than Nick McNutt.
So I never heard of kai Jones before this thread. I agree with about everybody, if papa Jones is pushing his kid on the tgr athletes and such that's bullshit. But... I will admit watching a few minutes on youtube of him the kid rips. Do I want to pay money to watch him in a tgr feature? Fuck no.

I compete in the big kid group (15-18) and got to watch the u12 champs back at snowbird because they were the day before ours. Pretty sure his dad's paying the judges off as well. Kai took the full on side slide had one of the shittier runs but still won. Yeah he rips but there's a lot of kids his age who are much better than him.

I don't know what age group this was but it was on that day with perfect comp conditions in late march/ early april? I was on Peruvian and some dude took a line where I had no clue where he was going between some trees and then comes flying out and launches a massive Cossack, like easily 40 feet, probably more like 50-60. Is there any vid of that that you know of?

Man the lines I saw him getting filmed on inbounds at JHMR were total run-of-the-mill hits that any shit-head local does on a Monday morning before work. There are hundreds of unknown skiers in Jackson alone more deserving than him. I could go on forever about how terrible tgr is for this sport and not run out of bad things to say.

I'd be interested to see how many east coast park rats here would be willing to drop corbets. Before I came out west I was super intimidated by cliffs since the east coast only has them over rocks and tight trees. And I'll admit it, I cant 360, yet. However I will send it to the moon off anything else.
