Best way to ship skis?

Anyone know of the best rates from companies to go by when shipping skis/any tips?

Every pair of skis I've ever bought has been fedex. I use fedex to ship stuff at work daily, and we've been on them for years because they were consistently cheaper than UPS.

The last pair I bought from a company came by UPS.

Used UPS to ship skis from England to Northern Ireland, service and price were good, no complaints.

The one time I shipped skis within the US I found usps to be the cheapest with the same time frame as the other options as well

With or without bindings? I use USPS for without bindings cause they’ll ship you triangle boxes (for free) that you can piece together and are very sturdy. With bindings I kinda jump around but just print all your shipping labels online for any company and you can usually get away with saving a few bucks

I bought a sturdy telescoping box from fedex, and checked the rate there as well as at ups and usps. For the location I was sending them to usps was the cheapest, skis got there in a couple days.

I'm unironically considering starting a instagram page with an online store to sell stuff that I find for cheap on KSL. Is it possible to ship by media mail if I put them in with a few posters or something?
Staticmedia mail, should get there by winter

Shipped many skis and Fedex is always the cheapest by a far margin. Use UPS only if you want to pay triple.

Skin up and ski them to the destination. Don't forget an extra pair to ski back
