My friend signed me up for this website at his grandparents house. I never visited the site until winter. He told me the story of what skiierman was doing on the website while we were riding the chairlift. I didn’t believe him so I had to check it out. Sure enough he was posting away like crazy. Racking up a huge post count.
I didn’t pay any attention to him at the time. His posts were rather boring.
The thing is that he did reach his post count goal and he was denied his prize. He must have been banned soon after this because I forgot about him for the longest time. I also have no idea why he was banned.
All this time goes past and I start visiting NS again. I must say that things did change over the years. The site had significantly less traffic this last year. This made the main contributors really stand out. So people like skierman (spelled with one i) were hard to ignore. This piece of shit 4chan troll was just spewing toxic garbage. It was really hard to see how his posts were funny. Now, the real skiierman would say some funny shit every now and then. It was actually worth reading.
I sent this fake guy some PM's and he screen shotted them and posted it in two different threads. I thought this was hilarious. He then blocked my PM's. Poor kid couldn't handle getting roasted himself. I sent the same shit to doubleu and he didn't block me like a pussy.
After this happened I hit 1776 posts. Just for fun I stoped posting on NS. This was after I was posting more than ever. So I had that itch to be active without posting. So I started sending PMs for fun. I would respond to threads via PMs and it was a lot more fun than I expected. Each time I logged onto NS I would have more messages than mythreads or alerts while I was active. Turns out getting a message is much more enjoyable than getting quoted. I don't have the time to share some of the funny random shit that was said, but there were some good puns and inside jokes that were made.
I am just going to tell you that there were some good times for those involved. The messages that worked out the best were when threads were asking for advice and we had a short convo instead of a small piece of advice. Most of the time my messages were sent just for fun. Some people thought I was weird and just ignored me. Those that trolled me back, you are the real MVP.
At one point I came up with a theme song for NS so here that is:

I was having so much fun messaging people on here that I started using other apps. Such as snapchat and tinder. Holy shit. My phone was blowing the fuck up this last month. I might recommend doing this, but I don't think anyone would. It takes a special kind of crazy to have fun doing menial tasks.
Now that is all the time I have for today. I have a few closing remarks.
