Early American History?

I think a bunch of rebels kicking some fancy-pants ass in the revolution is the best thing to ever happen.

When I first moved to North Carolina I was doing some reading about the history. Some cool things I found:

-Blackbeard (the pirate) crashed his ship "The Queen Anne's Revenge" in North Carolina and had his "hide out" in Bath, NC. That is before he got tired of the retired life and went back out and then got caught.

-The NBA team the Hornets are named after the Battle of Charlotte where Cornwallis met more resistance than he thought and nicknamed Charlotte a hornets nest because of it.

Hell yeah! I still talk to one of my summer school history teachers. Was actually a good student. Well I never didn't my homework and skipped class so maybe not, but was good at history. But did a summer junior year I think. History teachers are cool.

Also history seems to be Egypt>Hitler>Aliens, I think that's leaving out a few things but who am I to judge.
