Looking to upgrade a few electronics for a upcoming job in a remote area so looking for some advice and hopefully get some questions answered.
First off looking at a external hard drive. Gonna down load a bunch of movies and music. I know I need to buy a PC formatted. Looking at 2TB/3.0usb and SSD for the fact lots of people swap movies/music where Im going. SSD because I hear they are durable (Am I understanding that correct?).
Any recommendations or any brands I should stay away from?
Looking at Noise canceling headphones. Possibly gonna bite the bullet and buy wireless. Will I have to pay out the butt for wireless ones or are there good wired brands out there? Recommendations please.
Laptops. Looking at a solid 2 in 1 laptop for mainly watching movies/managing music and photos. Its gonna be a PC.
Im not good with laptops lingo so what should I be looking for to get good performance laptop?
Big question I have about these types of laptops is since I am gonna buy a External hard drive can I go with a cheaper laptop with less memory but still get good performance?
Another big question. I have Iphone as my music listening device. Will I have a hell of a time transferring large amounts of music from a external hard drive to my laptop, to the apple music downloader?
Or am I missing a step in how I should be managing large amounts of music for apple devices? (other than bying a $2,000 apple laptop).
Any information would be greatly appreciated since Im pretty useless when it comes to finding good electronics.
Thanks NSrs.
