Zermatt summer opening July 7th

Was up at zermatt yesterday just riding lifts and looking at the views... saw the summer park being setup and thinking of heading there for a couple days on opening weekend July 7-8! Anyone else gone be up there?

fack, this makes me wanna ski. Summer is stupid, why am i doing this horseshit. Also was hoping to make it to beartooth but my shoulder and other things kind of threw everything for a loop.

One of these days I'll do a winter or summer in Europe.

Drink too many beers and do something stupid and potentially regrettable for me! Cheers!

I’ve been meaning to get out there with my UK crew. We do a lot of indoor/dry slopemduring the winter alongside a couple trips to the alps with the uni club.

Been eyeing up Zermatt for a while, the campmground seems like a good way to save money on accommodation. Currently need to get some gainful employment so that I can afford to get out there.

^ theabortionator if I get out there I will certainly do both of those things

Ayee! I was up there yesterday as well, hiked up to the glacier tram and peered over at the park while taking in the amazing views.

I left today though - shame I didn’t link up and have a beer with a fellow NS’er while in that beautiful place. Someday I’ll be back... in the winter this time.

I'll try my best, I'm going to see how much I can film lmao. I learned cork and bio 5s and 7s on tramp too, so I wanna just do as much as I can

You'll definitely be able to rent skis, but they wont have a great range. What's your BSL?
