ok, so its official the indoor ski place in NJ is finally opening in march of 2019, we finally get one of these in the us! It's got a park so this should be epic.

Interesting, but for me it looks like that there are no plans to build a terrain park. I think they mean something else with the term snow park!?

i remember hearing about this when i was in highschool like 6 years ago. I thought it was just a joke back then. I'm still pretty skeptical but i'll be stoked if it follows through!

Thats what I thought at first too... but then at the bottom of the second section(the parts broken up by pictures) i found this: “We plan to keep one half of the main slope surface open for general skiing and snowboarding and also to offer some freestyle terrain park features for guests to practice their park skills on in the traditional off-season months.” so to me, it looks like they're going to do half n half, which is sick imo.

If it's like snowdomes in UK are anything to go by the snow will be an inch deep over ice and the park can be amazing or 3 bits of plastic on the opposite side of the slope to the race training course

drove by it the other day and they were actually doing construction on it. im so fuqing pumped! Still sad I couldnt have this while I was younger tho :(

Fack, I was actually going to write a satire article about the place.

Glad to see it's actually opening. I've driven past it more times than I can count, slept at a friends overlooking it several times, and been generally bummed at the rise of hype and death of the operation.

We'll see though. Wasn't it going to happen again like 6 years ago? The governor was going to make it happen and then it died out again? I'll believe it when I'm sliding down snow with a beer in my hand in july on my way to crashing into the side of a rail and later crying to you guys on the internet.

When I first got into skiing more seriously this place fucking taunted me, I was so hype to have indoor skiing right near my house and was going to ride there all summer, of course it never opened. Now I work in vt skiing in the winters and Windells in the summers, timed it all wrong. Lets be real though, its in jersey, it’s going to be jerry city
