I didn't know him, but apparently he passed away, succumbing to a 3-month coma.

Thoughts hope out to his family and friends.

I've known a few skiers who have died doing what they love, but Bryce was a friend of mine. Each death really sucks but this one really sucks. He was super funny, wonderfully positive, and wouldn't want any of us to be sad or crying like a little bitch. He'd just want us to keep the stoke high and never stop doing what we love, even if it meant risking our lives to achieve it. He was a spark you never thought would go away and it's just super weird to know he's gone.
