Pit vipers are the fast glasses you buy when you don't know where to find real true fast glasses. Real true fast glasses are rare and have to be hand picked by the owner, pit vipers do not have that kind of speed.
Riff raff is a total fuckin doofus but cutting ties over 5 year old allegations where almost no one is informed about hard facts yet and then making a big performance about it is super weak. Total marketing move. Never thought a company like Pit Viper would try so hard to capitalize on SJW reeee-ing.

This is the truth right here. Once I upgraded from pit vipers to legit fast glasses my speed on the mountain increased exponentially.
I picked up a pair of pit vipers years ago when they ran one their first kickstarters. I use them for mt biking, bushwacking, skiing, partying, and as safety glasses. I haven't had a single issue with them and I don't take care of them whatsoever.
If you want shades that'll last for uses like I've used them for, I think they're money well spend although they're much more expensive now.
Its really weird that a bunch of people who openly admit to drinking and partying in their offices in the morning on the clock in an article are worried about their public image and being associated with a shitty rapper, haha.

Weren't there recently sexual assault allegations against riff raff? That's probably what spurred this.
I love that you guys are trying to insult them for not standing with a sexual assaulter, “theyre just a partt company” “they drink at work” “they like to fuck chicks” yall are so wack, it would be so easy for them to ignore the charges and keep riff raff on because he’s probably great for the company, it actually shows some solid morals that they dont want to associate with him anymore. Unlike Eliza you have a choice, you can decide to not buy pit vipers anymore because theyre “sjw”s or whatever youre saying, or you could have a brain and realize that assault allegations are legit and clearly if he cancelled his tour there’s some validity to them.

I like OKLY's cuz they are good solid pare of glasses but everyone knows pit viper's are for swag and style. sure they compete in the same market but there Taggert audience is way different
K pit vipers definitely overrated, but so many things are made in china and those companies dont get the shit that we're giving pit viper. I own a pair that i dont really use but i wouldnt say theyre low quality. Like people are completely overreacting and this shouldnt even be a big deal
Planktonpit vipers do not fit my face. I've tried every setting and they are so uncomfortable. Anyone else
Have you tried their different frame widths? The originals have never fit my face well but the 2000's are perfect for me.
Also, they recently updated the arms and nose piece and I'm extremely (and surprisingly) impressed. I never got great security with the old ones (always dropped down my nose while skinning & biking) but the new arms are rubberized and the nose piece is stickier and way more flexible. Most secure fit I've gotten with a pair of sunglasses.
