How long have you been skiing?

since what age have you been skiing, and how good r u?
Personally, I've been skiing for 2 winters, pretty good on trail, doing okay in glades mogul and park, I'm 14.

Started whne I was 7. Did the bunny slope for 3 runs and did a pretty steep blue square slope as my first real slope lol. Caught on right off the bat and immediately fell in love w it. Slid my first rail when I was 12 and been loving every day on skis ever since. I’m 16 now.

Started when I was 4, 16 now. Pretty average skier. Not great at Park but like skiing the whole mountain. 12 years and not much to show for it. Going to start park next season I'm thinking.

started when I was 10. Gonna be 18 soon.. Been skiin park for like 5 years, I'd say. I dont have a huge trick selection but Im very good at the tricks Im able to do.

When I was 4 right when I moved from Boston to Vermont. After a year I was skiing all over all the time, been that way since.

Started when I was 2, figures, my parents met skiing, I'm 13 now. I can do 3s with simple grabs, but I'm also a good racer, techniqhe wise I'm good, but my front 2s don't compare well

I started when I was 3 years old. I am 14 now. I'm not good in anyway if you compare me to kids at big mountains throwing doubles, but i'm definitely one of the best at my smaller mountain.

I've been skiing off and on for 33 or 34 years. I'm ok, I don't ski park, prefer steeps, woods, jumping off logs and small cornices and cliffs, 10-15 feet sized. My technique isn't very pretty but I can get down most things at speed.

Looking at most of the posts it's got me thinking what is the average age on NS? To answer the question I started skiing around 8 and I'm 28 now. I had to take a few years off in my early 20s cuz legal problems but I've been skiing hard every winter for about 16 years.

I started skiing when I was 10 i'm from the midwest so we barely get any snow so I mostly ski park slid my first rail when I was 11 i'm okay at park skiing but suck at skiing powder, I'm 13.

I've been skiing since I was 12 and I'm 17 now. Been riding in the park for 4 of those years because I got bored of the rest of the mountain pretty fast.

really though, bishop or someone did an actual survey at some point and said it was... can't remember what the number was but something like 20. so, higher than you'd think, but then again skiers are retards so it's hard to tell online haha

Started skiing when I was 8 yrs old and became a parkrat when I was 13 and now I'm 18. Every season in the park has been great and I've had the time of my life making new friends and testing my limits, couldn't hope for much more.

I’ve been skiing for 4 years but park only for 2, I only do rails because there is no such thing as a jump where I live.

Started skiing when I was 18, I’m 20 now so only been skiing 2 seasons! I’m not super good at park but can rip Jackson Hole.

Been skiing since I was probably 10 or 11

im 22 now. Started skiing park my freshman year of high school and have very little to show for it.

Pretty over progressing in park nowadays. I love the culture and watching people kill it and cruising through the park but I would much rather spend a day in the steeps finding stuff to jump off and just lay turns down. I would consider myself a great skier for my area, a pretty good skier if I’m out in Vermont and an average skier if I’m out in utah. I need to spend more time in the real steep shit because Alta/snowbird gives me the “wtf did I get myself into” feeling on some of the runs there.

Ive been skiing since I was 5 - 6, last season was my first season as a park skier. Im from Chile so my ski season starts these friday.
As on my level, Ive had an all mountain powder skis, mounted for powder skiing, these meant I couldnt ride switch well and jibbin was harder. I ended the season whit backflips on park, 5 on big jumps and on rails my best trick was unnatural lipslide Fs swap to foward, even tho I only did it once.
