Do you think if we could use a time machine and bring to the future OG ski pros like Evan Raps, Skogen Sprang, Jon Olson and Pep & Dumont in their prime and take them to a session like Kimbo Sessions. Do you think the OG's could learn all the tricks with the better skis and park set ups we have these days? Could they hang with some of these new wave kids? or would they be left in the dust?
If you look at the way Tanner has progressed over the last three years I think it's proof that old dogs can learn new tricks. I think if the OG ski pros hadn't stopped skiing and trying to progress you'd get a rising tide effect and the hype would push them. I dunno though, the game has changed, so many kids these days can throw down tricks that would be 'pro-only' tricks back in the day. So I think that aerial awareness may be a little more ingrained early on.
No idea though, would love to see it, Colby James West and Dumont getting buttery and handraggy all over the place... Would love to see the yooot of today put out some OG style material though!!
