What jobs qualify for proform

So there is the suggested price that people probably have trouble paying even if they want to and then there is the actual top price that retailers will try to sell for. Enough people pay these prices all over that it makes it pretty easy for the rest of us to score a deal.

I know people that are on flow deals or whatever and I usually get better deals on my gear just by looking for sales and closeouts.

Anything outdoor related. Ski hill, bike shop, REI...

Depends on the resort if you're speaking in terms of resort/lodging work. Experticity (now ExpertVoice) has programs setup with a lot of resorts and resort companies. I was able to use it when i worked at PCMR and then Deer Valley which helped. OutdoorProlink was another one as well but not as many decent brands on these programs as there used to be.
On top of that, we were able to get discounted smith stuff, rossignol/dynastar proform deals, and other perks like community discounts and stuff.

If you want good deals, work in retail. Resort people get jack unless you have a personal relationship with an actual rep.
Here in CO most brands seem to have resort 'reps' who talk about how awesome being a 'rep' is and try to sling gear locally for a shit price in exchange for some free gear from their handlers..

Experticity is pretty dope. I got a mammut airbag pack for 50% off. Thats saved quite a bit.

But yeah, some pro forums are lame to the point where I can buy it online from evo etc for cheaper tham even their super awesome "deal" price.
