Currently use a 7d mark ii and am going to keep it for photography. I want to get into the world mirrorless cameras and 4k video and with a budget of around $2,000 the GH5 and A7iii have caught my eye. I want to buy whichever camera is better strictly for video, I love my 7d and want to keep it for photo and as a 2nd shooter for video.
From the research I have done so far, I like 4k at 60fps and the flip out screen on the GH5, but also like the fact that the A7iii is full frame and have heard it has much better autofocus. I'll be using canon lenses with a metabones adapter for whatever I end up with.
I will be shooting mostly formal interviews with people for work, but also love shooting sports and the outdoors on my own time.
I have been trying to decide on my own for what feels like forever now, any thoughts, opinions, or advice is greatly appreciated!
