110mm skins for Hojis? Anyone tried this?

OregonDead4frnt reccomends 110mm skins for 112 underfoot Hojis. Anyone tried this method instead of trimming down bigger skins?

My plan was to buy 125mm ascention nylon skins but when I got to the store to pick up my purchase it turned out they actually didn't have them. Pretty slim pickings at the shop but they were really nice and wanted to get me something that will work well. They ended up giving me 110mm momix skins for the same price I paid for the nylons and told me to take them back if I decide I want to go a different direction.

Shouldn't be the end of the world. Bikini cut isn't the best, but if you've got good technique and your skin tracks aren't too icy you should be fine.

The edges are 1-2 mm anyway and you want them to be exposed. Based on that I'd say 110 mm would be perfect.

110 mm is the right size. Everything worked out for the best. Hoji's are dang good fun!
