Replying to Where to stay for next winter?

Alright here is the deal. I get 6 months leave for the birth of my next child. Wife gave me the go-ahead to pick anywhere to live for the month of Feb. And March. Would like to stick to West Coast or Rockies.

Where would you pick? My mind is racing.. too many options and I keep thinking of other places. Would prefer a place that is a little more family friendly as we will have 3 children under 5 years old and I'm the only one that skis. So somewhere with a bit of a town and atmosphere (food, activities). I also don't really want a place too busy but I guess with 2 months I could find plenty of time to miss long lift lines.

So, where would you go given the option that you think would hold me and family over for 2 months without everyone else getting stir crazy.. and yes I know my wife is awesome.
