K2 Marksman vs Line SFB vs Armada ARV106

I'd rule out the SFB off the bat. The design of the past 2-3 years is too soft with too much side cut to be a really competent all mountain ski. Between the ARV and Marksman, I'd take the Marksman. The ARV is great but has very little depth and splay to the rocker profile. That's great if you want what is essentially a wide park ski but as a one ski quiver the powder/soft snow performance will be lacking. I'm a big fan of the Marksman, it's fun and poppy but also somewhat damp. It's not a charger by any means but if you stay athletic, the ski provides excellent suspension.

Cool, I'm leaning towards the 177 length with the rocker that it has. I feel as though the 170 would be too short for me.

Definitely the 177

Marksmans seams like super fun skis, probably going to be the cheapest ones too since backcountry has them for onle like 380, just picked up som cats for 420 so hop on that deal

EDIT: Just checked and they only have 170 in stock, sorry bud. id still look for marksmans tho

I'm the same size as you are, and i really like my 184 sfbs. They are stiffer than you would think they would be, due to the redesign a few years ago. I never had any wash outs or excessive tip flapping even at high speeds on icy groomers. I have a pair of kartel 98s, that feel less locked in while turning compared to the sfbs. If you can find a pair for a decent price, they are definitely a good option imo

I've been skiing a pair of 2016 SFBs for the past two seasons and I really dig them. Obviously they're not the stiffest ski but since the redesign I think they're stiff enough while still being really snappy which I like. I know most people don't ski park with them but I did a good amount of jumping on them this season and thought they worked pretty well

Marksman is a great all mountain ski, I've probably got 25 days on them this year and it held its weight everywhere
