Photoshop changes my color grade

I noticed that as soon as i put a photo in photoshop it changes the colouring of the pic. Its quite noticeble and for me ruins the picture. Anyone who knows somethnig about it?

Did you take your pictures in raw? I guess this could be an issue then.

Does the issue already occur in camera raw or after you open them in photoshop itself?

After i open them in photoshop... So i import a photo in photoshop and then compare it to the picture in my folder and the colours are different... Now that i said import it got me thinking-i dont import it thru the import button but i drag the pic from the folder. Could that be the cause?

If you arent using adobe camera raw yet, I'd suggest you to start using it. In Camera Raw you can adjust the basic parameters, so that the picture is displayed in the way you want it to be displayed. If you'd like to prevent the color changing in the first place and aren't planing to use the capabalities of raw files, I'd suggest just shooting jpg's.

This is the proper solution ^, when I import RAW in to Lightroom they always change display from Finder's preview. Anyway, if you're shooting RAW photos then you should be shooting to edit, so the initial display shouldn't affect how you choose to grade/color it nor how it comes out.
