Is Montana state ROwdy?

I have looked all over the internet and cant get a clear answer is MSU a party school or na? are there girls or na? there are no party viedos on youtube! ovi the skiing is sick and the other outdoor stuff is rad, but i cant get a read from the interwebs if there are a bunch of rowdy boyz and girls who are DOWN to party

There are parties, but they only last 30 minutes tops then get shut down. There are girls, but the guy to girl ratio is pretty bad. The skiing is good, but is way over hyped by social media. Majority of people sit in their rooms all day and watch Netflix. I came here and often wish I went to Boulder or U of U

I'm not an MSU student but I'm just trying to relate an experience. Just because a school is not labeled as a party school does not mean that there are no parties or night life. Example, I go to the U not really labeled a party school, I have had no trouble finding nightlife on the weekends. You'll find something (also side note if your main criteria for a school is partying then you should probably reconsider priorities awful lot of money to waste, but hey I'm not your mom so I'm no going to tell you what to do)

I'm heading there next year and I have a few friends who currently go there and from the looks of it there isn't anything huge that goes down, but theres still quite a bit of smaller stuff. As far as girls go, idk how many there are but it's a decent sized student body so theres bound to be some. Checkout bozeman.bangers on instagram, they post quite a bit of party stuff

I went to CU first then transferred to MSU. Skiing is fucking awesome. If you think it's over hyped by social media that's because you're a resort skiing and you should go back to Colorado. Party scene sucks, bar scene can be fun. Like that other kid said about partying at school; you don't go to school to party, grow up and drink alone like a real man. All the hot girls have boyfriends. If you're looking to party and ski park, go to CU. If you're lookin to ski real snow and ride sleds, come to MSU. But don't tell anyone. theres a great bumper sticker I see out here. Something along the lines of "Welcome to Montana, Now go home" Cheap booze, cheap food, plenty of big trucks, shitty coke though...

That being said, I blackout out last weekend at big sky so the Montana rowdyness is there for sure. Be the villain you were born to be. Stop waiting for someone to come along and corrupt you. Succumb to the darkness yourself.

If by party you are thinking of 100 person frat rager, then no. Think more like 10-20 people. Its really fucking cold there for most of the year so you don't have drunk college kids walking from party to party.

Nah it suks here.... just a bunch of dudes playing video games and trying to become engineers. pretty bad snow too and its way way too cold here most of the year so you can't really go outside anyway...

Come to msu. you can get instate tuition and housing is decently cheap. Bridger is 20 mins away and big sky is an hour away. Also don't pick a school bases off if it parties or not. Your mostly going to realize parting is not that cool once your actually old enough to drink or your going to get a MIP like the first week of school and have to stop partying anyways. There so much more to life than sitting in a hot crowded room, full of loud people you don't know.

never partied here at MSU, not once....most people dont even drink...smoking is super frowned upon...mostly religious girls and big truck cowboys....bridgers fucking packed...big sky is like 2 hours...its like worse than I70 dude..pretty sure roskie is gunna fall over too...betcha the mormons in Utah party harder

I get not going to school for partying but partying is fun and can be done in moderation. Some people have no interest, some people want to get wild.

Going to school just to party is a huge waste if you're paying for it, but nothing wrong with wanting to go to school and get yur party on.

Also agree that many schools that aren't "party schools " still have decent parties.
