I know booster straps will help out shin bang, but my main question is, which is the most effective booster strap or which do you recommend?

its been a long time since i bought them, but i remember when i put them on i noticed a considerable difference...they'll last forever too once you get them.

If you are over 150 and ski more big mountain I would suggest the expert strap.

I just got them a few days ago and they turned my shitty old rental boot into a high performance machine, I just got the regular ones cuz I weight 160lbs. My shins hurt a lot more since I got them though because my boots are so fucking tight. I dont even have to buckle my latches on my boots anymore the booster keeps it perfect

yup but my shins never hurt before, now that I got the straps they are sore, but then again I also got new skis on the same day as the straps so maybe its just tossin the big skis around that hurts

So if I weigh almost 100lbs, I should get the 2ply? And, are they easy to put on and take off? Cause I have rental boots and I have to give them back at the end of the year, will i have to drill holes or do I just strap them around?

Being out there skiing every day, good or bad, just playing around with friends, with no contests or filming- that is the real spirit of skiing for me. that is why i started skiing, and if i lose those moments that is what will make me stop skiing.

You can drill out your old strap and t-bolt the new ones on if you want, but I just put it over the boot itself, it's very simple

if you just put it over your existing strap it isn't going to do anything b/c the elastic will not be able to stretch. drill out the old rivits and strap then tbolt the booster on. keep the old strap and tbolt it back on at the end of the season. i'm almost positive the rental sho wouldn't notice the tbolt in place of the rivit.
