What do you listen to lapping the park?

I notice 90% of the guys at my local have earbuds in at all times when we’re lapping the park. So what do you guys listen to? Got a buddy that gets pumped from metal, a friend that listens to old school rap, and a few that are into mumble rap, I listen to weird things like samba, idk feel more stylish.

Usually don't listen to music in the park, but if I do it is generally a mix of rap, hip hop, or rock.

Varies depending on my mood and conditions though. Once went a whole afternoon on a windy/powdery day listening to Elton John just because that's what I was feeling.

haha i was actually listening to goodbye yellow brick road by elton john on a lap this weekend.

I usually like something kind of electronic when i ski. LCD soundsystem, daft punk, odesza, or something along those lines. Something with that kind of rhythm feels good to ski fast too.

can't listen to music while I ski. I find its such a fucking pain with headphone chords pulling, having to pause shit cause skiing is a social sport and you have to talk, and I have trouble judging speed and shit when I can't hear.

I can only listen for so long or if I feel like it. Doesn't really help me but for mellow laps i like it, rather blast tunes on the drive up.

Young thug, Lil Uzi, Kendrick, Chanc the rapper, kodak and some other new wave rap for park. For powder, my go to is pink floyd; DSOTM, the wall, animals and wish you were here. If I’m sick of those I listen to syd barret Pink Floyd which is a whole different vibe. Also sometimes Talking Heads.

I wear bluetooth ear buds, I've found a pair that doesn't cancel a lot of noise cuz i know what you mean in terms of judging speed. I get you with podcasts though, people look at me funny when I start laughing my ass off sitting on the chair looking off into space though.

If I’m ripping around real fast I’ll put in some real fast paced type rap, if I’m on the rope I’ll put in My hardcore drake playlist, if it’s late in the day and sun setting or whatever, rainy, nighttime, etc and just cruising around I’ll put in my slow Drake playlist.

I've only listened to music while skiing just a few times. I didn't have earbuds in so I couldn't hear the music anyway. I didn't realize how loud skiing actually is. I like listening to the sounds my skis make. When I had music I had my player on shuffle because like such a wide variety of music and I cant decide what I want to listen to. It depends on the mood.

These are the ones I have, stupid good sound, my recommendation is anything with hooks as you can see in the picture, these keep the earbuds locked to your skull, don’t hurt, and I think they look good. Wouldn’t recommend buying airpods if that’s what you were talking about, I have larger ears and they’ve fallen out all the time. I also wear a belaclava and toque(beanie) when I ski so that keeps them in doubly.

if i'm tryna do tricks i don't listen to music. but just cruising or when your friends want to hit park on a pow day music is key. i like listening to A tribe called quest, Nas, Pac, Biggie or something like that if i'm in the mood for semi creative skiing. newschool rap when i'm going to swerve, wich is not often at all. can never go wrong with Nirvana tho
