Jdunn3I have the 2017 ones and I only skied them like 10 days this year and they are pretty beat. Mostly just cosmetic stuff but they chip so easily
jmckay7Just don't ski into any ditches that's my advice
GRaboneSnowI hear that if you get anything other than the chronic or blend the durability is questionable.

voy10The only line ski id ever buy is the blend probably. Anything else, idk.
jmckay7I have the 2017 SFBs and they're the best skis I've ever had.

DrFrosticalsBought the 2018 model and skied then ~80 days this year and they’re in fantastic condition despite the abuse they’ve been through. I’m a beginner in the park but they’ve been hitting rails every single day of the last month and not a single edge crack, might just be me though.
uncrustablesim almost 100% sure thats just you, but props to you tho.

tomPietrowskiIt's probably actually more that he gradually wore in the skis. He said he only starting hitting rails recently so by the time he started rails chances are his edges had naturally rounded somewhat and were therefore less likely to get damaged when he did start hitting rails. He also said he is a beginner who this ski is designed for so stands to reason that they held up ok.
Yes I'm fairly new to rails so after skiing them for months the edges did dull, but I did detune them underfoot before trying rails and I haven't had a single crack. They're not nearly as durable as any Armada ski, because they can take a beating and still look beautiful. The topsheet chips a ton and the tapered tip and tails get destroyed cosmetically but function wise, they hold up great as an all - mountain / park ski if you take care of them. Same can be said for basically any ski though.
