Alright so I've never seen this much snow at the base in the three trips I've made. Not even close. That said, the avvy danger was really high so we basically could only ski back down to the bottom. Solid hike and good vibes at Hojo's, but no ravine today. Sherburne on the way down was fun, but a 2 hour hike up for a 5 minute ride down just doesn't seem that glorious. Enough snow for mid summer by the looks of it. Another time!
For up to date info, i'd recommend joining the "Backcountry and Touring in the Northeast" facebook group. It's technically a closed group but they add everyone who requests to join

Really wanna go up soon this spring to either the summit or tucks but not many to go with. Saw a video of a local on insta and up high on Washington looked good recently.
whent up there Monday and Tuesday skied from the summit! there was tons of snow and the avi danger is really low due to supper warm spring skiing conditions I would go asap on the next clear day it supper nice right now
Some girls I know went last weekend and according to Snapchat videos it seems to be getting pretty bare up there. If anyone goes up I hope you're passionate about skiing and know your safety shit.
Went on Saturday.Fun skiing, short runs. Multiple glide cracks though and extensive undermining all over, so a lot of care in choosing routes is necessary.
