Tip of ski broke in half

So the tip of my skis broke in half, the bottom layer and the top shell, is it possible to fix? If I send it back to manufacturer what are the chances of getting a replacement?

if you were doing park, you likely broke warranty and they wont replace.

What brand is it? Some have good warranty deals, you can also use a rivet gun and make them look like k2s.

Long story short your skis should be fine. They might send you a new pair but if they don't your local shop could fix it up nice and it probably won't cost too much. I've done this a few times this season with my skis.

09 ish one of the kids split the nose of his board on the leg of a rail. Took it to the shop and came back with a bandaid on it.

Kind of a dick move on the shops part but really fucking funny. Poor kid rode back into the park and showed us, board still split with bandaid across the split.

It was pretty savage. I was like "go to the shop and see if they can hook you up with a temporary fix " fucking bandaid lol.

That's pretty hilarious. I've never had a bad experience in a shop but I can understand their frustrations. I feel like snowboards would be harder to fix too.

It's a pair of Firefly wallrider, it's cheap. The thing is that it isn't perfectly split into two, the crack is between the two layers on right side and it kinda goes into the middle with the left portion undamaged

a friend of mine did almost the same thing, but he cut away the edge on the tip of his snowboard and clamped it with some epoxy. he put on some ducktape for some reinforcement.
