I have lived in between Bend and Govy for almost 3 years now, One thing that is always on my mind when I go to Bachy is how ideal of a city Bend is.. that is if you are already loaded. It seems like Bend is a good city for the retired folk and migrating Californians... they have everything they could ever want in one location, nice summers, the best skiing, fresh air, and (kind of) away from the hustle and bustle of big city living. I would love to live in Bend and set up shop, there is just so much to do.. but yeah like I said before considering a move to Bend I would advise the avid reader to have a Good job lined out, or already have a source of a Large amount of income, and also I noticed they don’t take kindly to the likes of Govyrats/ other Oregon locs that escape Portland. They scoff at the thought of going back to the days when they were but a small hick town. So the majority (not all) people of Bend seem like your typical affluent and stuck up Californians but I feel if you just do your own thing inBend you’ll enjoy yourself and all that Bend has to offer.
