theabortionatorFuck. I wasn't the biggest fan on my parents but at least they weren't too ridiculous with rules.
I got to ski/board regularly whenever the local hill was open. Having night skiing mtn 5 min away was pretty dope. It went under again my freshman year of HS. But was stoked to the yeara I got there. Also was 12 i think the first season they put in lights and a chairlift. Basically lived there the next few years. No park, building jumps always got me in trouble but damn.
Idk. Let them know how important it is to you. You wont be skiing for 8 months. Youwant to go one more time before it ends. Maybe their hoping you make some sort of agreement about not getting below ___ forever if you can ski. Then when you get beliw that theyll sell your skis and lock you in a room under the stairs forever.
How far away is the mtn? Do you have a pass? Do you have to buy a ticket/them buy you a ticket?
voy10I got a pass and have close to 40 days on it. They see it as an “I’ve had enough days” type of thing. Mtn is 40 mins and they don’t even have to drive me. Anytime I try to explain how important this last day is to me they just start yelling like psychos and telling me to shut up lmao.
voy10I’ll be doing literally nothing fun for the next 8 months.
FIRATWhy don't you play a regular sport in the summer? Ahaha it feels like everyone here only does skiing
cozzeyMountain biking seems to be the common alternate for skiers in the summer
voy10I would but 1. I don’t have the money and 2. I don’t have the money.

OregonDeadYour parents grounded you for getting a 3.5? That's a scholarship worthy GPA around here. What happens if you just go skiing? Will you still be grounded? Just asking questions. I'm already scared of your parents so if they ask I didn't give you any advice.
PhreeKandiIf you build a summer setup, then you can ski for the next 8 months.
voy10So I asked my parents if I could ski for the last time this year since Saturday is closing day. Earlier this week they flipped on me for my grades (3.5 gpa this past 9-weeks, we just got report cards the other day). When I asked them they started flipping on me again and won’t budge. They’re doing this as a punishment. A damn unreasonable one I’d say since it’s the last day of the season and I’ll be doing literally nothing fun for the next 8 months. How do I convince them to let me go?

MinggTell them the more days/time they let you go skiing, the less time they have to spend with you.
