this is so fucking messed up. Game rigged as fuck
SuspiciousFishEspecially considering she was literally the high priestess of the Economy at the Federal Reserve.
T.L.Yeah but she's the first woman treasury secretary so it all cancels out. If you say otherwise or question any of this, you're probably a white supremacist, nazi, russian trumper plotting a global insurrection against jewish hedge fund managers or something.

SofaKingSickcurious, i searched for that first one, the cnn business one, and could not find anything. i think that's fake and you got duped. i didn't check the others but yeah
T.L.that's the meme dude... of course its fake.
The narrative that they're seeding is that this whole situation is being caused by white supremacist nazi trump supporters from reddit. The rest are real. I've been archiving all this shit as its happening.
DayManTried to buy this dip and Robinhood is pulling the same bullshit today
DayManhey now this is the stonk thread don’t u dare bring your trump shenanigans back into this one
SofaKingSickbut the only one from an actual news source making a claim is the fake one, which you didn't distinguish from the others
and the others aren't what you present them to be. the last one appears to be about how one of the same reasons trump got support was the "common man vs the elites" struggle, and how that same struggle is playing out here
the ali breland one i found, and you omitted the follow-up tweet: "please do not interpret this as me saying that the gme, and r/wallstreetbet pumps are nazi endeavors, in the same way that nazis gloming onto vaporware does not make all vaporwave racist"
the bloomberg one uses the word insurrection, yes, but the definition of an insurrection is an uprising against authorities
so that plus your fake one/meme, and the fact that i've not seen one legit news source try to portray the gamestop WSB folks as being white supremacists/nazis... i think it's you who is trying to tell a story that isn't really there. i'm sure there are some wackos out there claiming similar but that's not your claim, your claim is that the Big Guys are doing that and i've not seen any evidence of that
T.L.The problem is the language designed to polarize news consumers. The establishment media's tactical use of language to gaslight people into having a certain reaction is totally out of control. One side gets angry because the journalists and publications are insinuating that they're the scum of the earth and the other side laps it up because they've been conditioned to think they're warriors in a battle to save the world from an imaginary global threat of racists and evil extremists hiding around every corner.
It doesn't matter what the topic is anymore, if you're counter to the orthodoxy, you're a racist or a white supremacist. They're free to say and call people what they want but I'm pointing out that it's disingenuous and their motives for doing so are suspicious.
All I'm saying is that people have taken notice that the seeds are being sewn right now to plant a narrative that has been successfully used in the past to shut down information that's deemed undesirable by the people who wield the power.
- Discord banned the WSB group for "hate speech" and then brought them back because it was all bullshit.
- The OG owner of WSB decided to larp as a janitor when the sub grew beyond his control and now he's telling the WSJ that it has a vast history of problematic behavior.
"Then there was the hate speech. Last year, Mr. Rogozinski decided to do some housekeeping and scrub some of the more distasteful content being shared in the community. In an off-Reddit chat room associated with WallStreetBets, he found language rife with obscenity, racism and antigay views that moderators let stand.
“There were a handful of mods who were straight up white supremacists,” he said. As a Jewish man married to a Mexican woman, he found it impossible to stomach.
“I have really thick skin and people can say whatever they want to me, but at some point there’s a moral standpoint—like with my kids, I don’t want them to think, ‘Well, they can say whatever they want about you,’” he said."

- Newsweek is suggesting that this is radicalizing people.

- Teen vogue tries their hardest to insinuate that WSB people are guilty by association.

"Reddit is used by tends of millions of people, and it would be irresponsible to assert that they are all edgelords or organized white supremacists." .. but we're going to say it anyway.

SofaKingSickYou're trying to paint a certain picture but your sources are really weak. The fake post you led with, the weak real ones that followed and I picked apart, now Newsweek (trash), wsj (100% not on the little guys' side lmao), teen vogue (really?)... you're trying to mix the (definitely real) surge in white supremacy etc lately with anyone who opposes you on another subject and it's just not an accurate representation hence the weak examples
while we're on the subject, I'm not telling you the WSB folks are Nazis but they aren't your friends either. They aren't on WSB to improve the world, they're there to meme and try to be Jordan Belfort. They have a very legitimate grievance here and have people from all over the spectrum on their side on this but you'd be a fool to take their output at face value. (And internetty groups like them DO often get co-opted by nefarious groups because they're such a magnet for impressionable people.)
You're drawing battle lines here that don't need to be there... hell this episode put ted Cruz and AOC on the same page for a tenth of a second.
So it seems really disingenuous and actually a little curious that you'd paint the lines there yourself, "on this side are me, WSB, and folks getting shouted down for racist ideologies, and on the other side are my opponents"
T.L.The only picture I'm painting is that a narrative is being constructed by various elements of press. Some mainstream, some not so mainstream, and within certain circles online. That's about it. It's been gaining a fair amount of traction on twitter and some boards I glance at a few times per day. I made an objectively funny joke, posted a meme related to said joke, and a handful of real people saying real, ridiculous things. I posted some articles that have been published talking about the narrative that's being constructed because you said you couldn't find anything and here we are. Anything other than what I just said and you're filling in blanks.
SuspiciousFishThe funny thing is nomatter how hard they try to spin this, America hates Wall Street. We never forgot how we were swindled and jerked us around in 2008 and how the big investment houses sold us out and got bailed out for it. Now, they got too greedy and we called their bluff and fucked em. That and it draws a line in the sand for Biden and the Democrats. Do they support their wealthy donors or cater to the progressives who think this is the amazing fruition of the dream of Occupy Wall Street?
I mean, for a short moment Ted Cruz and AOC were on the same frequency. Elizabeth Warren basically committed suicide going against them and reaffirmed she was a shit candidate against Bernie. This is going to get ugly fast and whatever side anyone in the government picks will dictate how their career ends up. If Trump was still on office it would be easy to pin him as a Wall Street stooge but Bidens in the big seat now and its going to be on him and his administration. Including Janet Yellen who got $800,000 from Citadel.
The brass balled bros out on WSB held the line today and they are running out of options to cover up the Short Squeeze catastrophe coming down the line. I have my popcorn ready because its going to be a hell of a ride and normal Americans on both sides of the aisle want blood from 2008.

JAHpowThe only thing I'm going to say politically in here is that Elizabeth Warren on CNBC on Thursday had a lot of words come out of her mouth, and yet she didn't say anything.
Then her dumb inquiry to the SEC seems to want to crack down on hedge funds AND retail investors.
Just let me trade.
WE LIKE THE STOCK🚀
soupOh my god what in the fuck happened I just got back from a week long no cell phone excursion and come back to this!!??
Who took home some coin from the nuclear meltdown I am legit tripping I missed this.
JAHpowQuestion-
Right now my account with Robinhood requires that I follow the PDT rule. I'm closing my Robinhood account after all this craziness and am moving to my TD Ameritrade account, which also, as of right now, follows the PDT rule.
Can I make three trades on Robinhood AND three trades on TD within the span of a week and still avoid getting labeled as a PDT?

.Daddo not worry my friend
the squeeze has not yet been squoze
Charlie_KellyDon’t quote me but I believe so. The rule applies to each broker so in theory you could max out one and move to the next and so on.
1337The PDT restrictions do get removed when you have $25k+ in your account FYI.
JAHpowOk, that's what I was thinking.
Yup, that's the next step.
Thanks dudes!

In other news, RH’s rating on the App Store has fallen from 4.8 to 4.1. Hoping to see it in the 3’s by EOW.

T.L.Here's kimmel saying that it's "russian disrupters" buying game stop. Kimmel didn't write that line and his writers didn't write that line.. Who did and why would someone inject this narrative? It's absolutely absurd.
