30+ is what I myself am satisfied with after a sendy day, but that has to include some 40+ to be valid.

I consider it anything that you might die if there wasn't snow. So for some people, 30 could do it. Its nothing close to a guarantee till you get closer to 100 (a little google work says 100% of people die form 8 stories or 85 feet)

There is an actual place called big cliff here in Oregon and it is 191ft but it's on a river and you'd probably die.

I mean...cmon.....there’s not that many people out there sending 30ft cliffs. Just like slope angle, people constantly over estimate the size of stuff they jump off.

To me personally, anything over 15 ft is a damn fine air. 2.5x your height or more is pretty solid for everyone but the very best skiers.

Personally 30’ or so is when it starts to get intimating. I don’t think I’ve sent it to 50’ before.

Best guess is 60-70’ I to water and that’d be real hard to get myself to do on snow.

I would draw the line at 25-30. I think that is the point where most decent skiers get wigged out. For me I feel much more comfortable going bubigg if I can see where I'm going to land from the take off.

I've definitely gone to follow someone I was skiing with over a cliff and then at the last second been like OH HELL NO. Everyone has a different comfort zone I guess, and some people are just nuts.

‘30ft’ is often a number throw around by people which is funny. I’ve had people claim 30’ drips in zones that max out at 15’.

I like to use the 10M diving board at the pool as reference. 10M = 33ft. That’s pretty damn big. L

I really think a big cliff is relative to snow conditions. Sending 20ft onto bullet proof hardpack would be big. But 35ft into powder would really be a massive send.

People love to claim 30+ ft sends casually but that's a pretty big drop. This is one of the bigger cliffs I've hit and it was definitely intimidating from the top, probably only like 20-25. Also had a super flat landing and I broke my cheekbone when my face hit my knee.

i'm with you in spirit but i don't think that's quite true-- buildings' stories are often taller than 10 feet each and that looks to be the case in this pic, for instance

Depends how sketchy it was. I was scared shitless to drop one that was no more than 15 maybe 20 feet bc there was a tiny ass space between two rocks and a tree to ski out of and I barely missed the tree before I ate shit. Also didn't help that it was windblown as fuck /claim
