I agree. Snowboarding taking inspiration from skaters and then deciding to slide a rail pretty much took it off.

A lot more of skiing comes from skateboarding than what people realize. We copies snoeboaders who copied skateboards.

We probably wouldn’t be skiing in the pipe since it was snowboarding that made half pipe popular. We also wouldn’t be skiing on ice all the time because no one would be scraping the snow off

I feel like skiing would be focused more on freeriding, and parks would be focused mainly on jumps not rails
