Volkl ski poles easy snap?

just like my binding I've broken 4 pairs of volkl ski poles this season? anyone have on really study ones?

I stopped buying new poles because theyre all shit. When i brake em i buy used kids poles for 5$ a pair... Usually i brake two to three pairs a year so profit

the home depot garden area had bamboo poles for like a dollar each on sale, put some of those baskets with the tips as part of the basket and some scott grips on them. They're pretty strong and when I broke one, I just cut another to size and swapped it.

Race poles seem to last. You can get some used for cheap on CL

I still have a pair of those bright green Scott’s from 2011 and they don’t even have a bend, so just buy a used pair of those

I have a pair of zipline poles I got for free, they are super bendy (carbon fiber or something). If you are paying for poles, you are doing it wrong tbh.

Look for poles left at base lodges at the end of the day or in the woods and cop those. Old rental poles will do the job fine and they’re free.

Cause i had a guy selling them to me for €20 instead of €40 so it was quick cheap and easy to just buy them again.

i broke mine.


i don't like paying for poles, i once payed for some line poles that's it. just find some lekis or some shit that people have left. my local have a room full of poles that have been left over the years. think most resorts have places like that
