Atomic wardens binding any good?

What's up guys?
So I got a question regarding the atomic wardens 11 bindings. Im debating whether or not to pick them up and mount a pair on volkl revolt 95s. The thing I'm worried about is they're a touring/Alpine binding. I'm just worried about the release points because I'm an aggressive skiier. Ive read some reviews, but I have no idea if the person writing it is just getting into park, or experienced, or just some groomer skiier. If you all had no problems with them, ill probably swoop them otherwise, I'll stick with another pair of griffons. Never had problems with them.

Ya homie I looked at it again, it's set in. It's the non touring model because they got a wtr model as well that's the touring version so I was wrong. But have you rode them?

Definitely go with sths instead, the Sth has a better toe and lower stack height

They are a binding for light non-agressive skiers.

Warden 11 is an alpine binding for less aggressive skiers. It only accepts normed alpine boots.

If you want a more durable binding with a higher DIN value, get the Warden 13. It accepts normed alpine boots, normed touring boots, WTR boots, and Grip Walk boots.

Thanks guys! I figured 11 might be too low. My griffons are set to 9 right now and I've broke a pair of old tyrolia for putting the din high amost to the max. I figure ill mount Griffin's on the volkl revolts, then get a different pair for the rossi s5s so I can use them more in Backcountry. Griffons are a pain in the pow. Then again, most bindings are

griffons are by far the worst in pow. I dunno why people seem to think pivots suck in pow...

Ya man I agree. Mine always get caked in pow. I'd imagine pivots are better because the heel piece can rotate so it's easier to get the snow out. Oh and when you leave your skis outside with some snow on the griffons, pain to put your boots in. The piece the heel rotates on freezes over. Almost like a rusty door hinge

The step-in force is also definitely the most. Especially if you have soft heels.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, there is 0 reason to buy griffons. They lack the elasticity and durability of the sth and pivot, and they're way more expensive than attacks which have a lower stack height. Not to mention the shitty heel piece.

I've had no problems with griffons besides using them in Backcountry. They get caked snow. I can get a pair for $170 which is fair for a pair of bindings. I'm not ruling out sths or attacks they're both good, but for Backcountry, I don't know. Snow cakes in attacks as well. I kind of want pivots for Backcountry.

Single-pivot heels (Griffons, Pivots, etc.) are generally worse to step in when caked with snow. Dual-pivot heels (Warden, STH2, etc.) tend to have a much strong "snap" to them while closing and more easily clear snow away.

So you think wardens are the way to go in Backcountry? I could get a pair of sths. I'll keep it in mind.

They both use the exact same heel. The only difference is in the toe.

Warden toe allows you to use alpine boots, touring boots, WTR boots, or Grip Walk boots.

STH2 toe allows you to use either alpine boots or WTR boots.

Pick one of them based on your boot needs. If you are only using alpine boots, go with whichever one you can get a better deal on or like the look of more.

Ya I the heel looks the exact same. But I think being able to use a touring boot is an advantage even if I don't end up using it, I still have that option. But I'm thinking just a single pivot for park, then a 2 piece for Backcountry.

Warden 13 rides the same as the STH2 13 in my opinion. If it were me I'd get what ever you can get for the better price or I'd get the Tyrolia attack 12 or 13 which also feels solid. Check out ASO gear on Ebay and you'll probably get a price closer to $130.
