Will shop mount 5 year old ski bindings?

I am getting new skis and I am wondering if a shop will mount my 5 year old Marker Griffon bindings on a new pair of skis.
I heard that shops won't mount bindings past a certain age.
Thoughts?

I work at a shop and although it is true that we can't work on bindings past a certain age, you're good to go with your griffons. There is no set age for when a binding 'expires' - it all comes down to the manufacturer telling us when certain bindings are no longer indemnified. When they produce a binding, they hang on to a few pairs and when a certain number of those pairs fail to pass DIN tests, the binding becomes unindemnified. Usually this happens after about 10-15 years.

I looked at the list briefly a while back it looked like more or less within 10 years was good to go for marker
