New skis

I am currently on 178 blends, thinking about getting a pair of arv 106's, will still ski park on them but thinking about putting one of those hybrid bindings on them( marker baron type of thing) wanting to start doing some backcountry stuff. I am 6'2"-6'3" ish, 170 pounds, would the 188 arv be too long? Also would arv 106 be too wide for the park, I don't think so but want to know what you guys think?

188 will be fine, and I’ve seen guys skiing park on similar widths (marksman, kartel 108) plus next year there’s a Magnus 102 and Vishnu 106 so you’ll be chill with wide bois

Deffinently do not ski barons in the park. Get daymakers

If you get the ARV 106 for park, make sure to get this new years model. The 17-18 model had thinner edges than the smaller waisted ARVs. The 18-19 model is supposed to have thicker edges.

Skiing on frame bindings kinda sucks, they are really heavy and lift you above the ski. Don't get frame bindings for park
