Rum_HamYeah, Vishnu isn't even close to the second best team in skiing. No versatility it's all just park/new wave. Out of the indie brands they don't even come close to ON3P, Moment, RMU or even HG. They don't have a single big name
Rum_HamOn3ps got a sick team for sure but it just doesn't compare to faction or armada. Losing Sander definitely doesn't help either.
Chubz. They produce the best skis in the world, they’re made in the USA, their team covers everything from gnarly urban skiers..arguably the most creative skiers in the game. One of the gnarliest BC/big mountain riders and a lot of up and coming free riders.
In my opinion the only thing that could them back from being on the level that faction and armada are on is the size of their company. But where they lack in size they make up for in durability and brand image. On3p team has fun and they produce really really good content that puts a smile on my face every time I see something from them.. and they’re amazing skis. I can’t wait to get another pair of kartels next fall.
&&&& just Bc candide thovex is on somebody’s team doesn’t make their products the best in the world. Just my opinion.

LukeTheWaffleI mean... Candide has said it's his favorite skis in the world. and how does the ski being made in the USA contribute to anything?
Also on3p may have some urban skiers, they lack anyone in the competition circut, and their image seems more trendy than others
Chubz.Candide’s opinion doesn’t really contribute to anything either lol.
Personally I would rather be on a ski hand made in Portland by real skiers that shred rather than some sweatshop in China or some factory in Europe where 4 other brands are being built.
Jake mageau is on the US half pipe team
“Image seems more trendy than others”
I don’t have a clue what that even means.
LukeTheWaffleSorry I was a lil confused there, but how does it being made in America contribute to anything, it may be more appealing to an American, but faction appeals more to me, a european, being designed in Switzerland (I've walked past their hq) and being made in Poland.
By trendy, most of the new wave skiers will use on3p, and for a while I thought they're much harder to use on jumps, because the only park footage I see is the bunch hopping around on them, or people doing jibs in the park.
Chubz. There’s like...3 or 4 American made ski brands. Moment, on3p, RMU and that’s all I can think of as of right now. American made skis aren’t common. So it contributes to a niche (American) audience. Compared to cookie cutter ski factories, having your ski hand made in a small shop has a more sentimental vibe I think. It feels like you’re more connected to the company. And it allows riders to have more influence in ski design. Magnus has 2 pro models now and Karl has 3. They can sit down and really tweak the ski to get it exactly how they want it.
Watch jake doan, John ware, & Karl fostvedt ski.
Hell Karl hit fucking chads gap on on3ps.
Their skis aren’t noodles, their riders just know how to ski very well and butter very well. Get on a pair and I bet you’ll think they’re really stiff skis at first.
& there’s 2 people on their team that ski “new wave” and they’re both bunch skiers. Everybody else on the team has their own style.
LukeTheWaffleCool! The only issue is I've heard of about three of those people, and still it would gain them a ton of publicity if they could get a competition rider. Have they made a team movie? Link if yes.
(Lmao I'm the type of guy to argue just to learn more)
