Hey guys,
looking for a ski to replace my Bent Chetler.
Want something a little more stable, but still playful.
What do you recommend?
Cheers

TopsenHey guys,
thanks for the answers. I supsected it to be something like that. From reading about it, I actually like both a lot.
I just found a used Bibby (very colourful one, i think 11/12) on ebay for cheap in good shape judging fron the pictures. unfortunately it is mounted with a rental binding.
Should I save the money and get a new one or has it got enough life in it after these years?
Cheers
N41v131355I know it's confusing, but the one you found is actually not Bibby, it's Moment Governor in 196cm length. As I remember it was called Bibby special for one year and then it was renamed. Check Governor description, it has almost flat tail, it's stiffer. Different ski
TopsenThe names are in fact confusing.
Though I‘m sure it is a Bibby, its this one:

TopsenWhere did I say its 1,96?
Its a 1,90...
Anyway, do you guys think I should go for it, although its quite old and has a rental binding on it?

BeetleJuice186 Kartel 116 is much more playful than the 190 Bibby Pro. The Kartel still has a good backbone to it though, with On3p's damp core layup. The Bibby is ultimately more stable, but gives up a lot of "playfulness" in order to achieve that feel. I like the slightly more forward mount point on the Kartel too.
