Learning 3's with a summer setup

my season's over but i'm putting my summer setup back together. One of my biggest regrets this season was not taking the time to learn 3's, and I was considering the possibility of learning it with the help of my setup. Aside from getting the basic technique down on a tramp, has anyone ever tried it on a dryslope or backyard setup? I was thinking changing the lip of my setup for more hang time and then just putting rugs, turf, msnow, etc. in the landing. as someone trying to learn it, i'm def gonna need more space/time in the air, but maybe I could throw something together to get more if this is even viable

I feel you OP, I regret not trying tricks all the time. There's a big difference doing tricks on turff going 5 mph and doing tricks on snow going 20. Keep that in mind

If you even made it work, which I really doubt you could, I think you'd only learn bad habits. My friends and I tried every harebained backyard idea you can think of when we were teenagers, and this seems super unlikely to make work. if you even managed to get air you'd learn 3s in a terrible way cause you'd be working with something that made you pencil tiny little 3s off a really tough little jump. That will only hurt you when you go for them on a legit snow jump

Better to just get on tramps, jump off shit into water, etc to "practice" during the summer. Watch a lot of skiing too

I did this once a long time ago with my setup. Let me see if I can dig up a video of it in my storage hard drives when I get home. It was pretty brutal, I wouldn't recommend

Yeah on my setup doing any sort of spins is just not worth the trouble. Stick to rails and boxes for the ramp, and practice 3's as much as you can on trampolines or flatground. It is so different from snow its not worth it imo.

It for sure can be done on my setup, but it's not worth it. Just focus on rails
