Replying to Getting Lost

Tonight I got this idea in my head that all I want to do this summer is pack my car, and leave behind everything i’ve ever known
I already have a pre arranged 4 day trip to San Diego to visit family but i’m no longer as hyped going down there as I used to be when i was a kid.
I’m talking about just going, with whatever money I have from my last paycheck. I would car camp, I am native american and I learned to live off the land in summer (what berries to look for, roots that are edible, etc.) I want to go North into Washington first thing to visit all of the places I once did as a kid.. as well as visit our sister tribe.. and find new places.... After WA I want to go East towards Montana and visit family I have over there as well.

I just want to know if anybody has experience with just leaving behind all they know? Any reccomondations? Is it worth it? I feel like this would be worth it to me as this sounds like a spiritual calling to me. I just have never done this before but it sounds like everything I want in life.. and that is a memorable experience, a life where fear does not rule everything.. a life where I am truly free.
