Negative Degree rotations possible?

I've seen 90 to pretz 270 in the air in a svlsh game but idk if it counts

Pretty sure negative rotation is only possible after a successful future spin, ie 2160, its the only way to breach the space-rotation continuum.

I used to do shifty back 1s all the time. Would get my board probably 140 and still get the spin around. Was trying shift back 3s at one point but never really panned out. Board was only 90 and mostly would wash out on the landing. I think I got a couple but they weren't that stellar. kind of a 90 pretz 450 though.

You would have to have your upper body set into the spin already, and shifty your skis around, other wise no chance. You can shifty father on a snowboard though. I don't think you could do it on skis. At leats not much beyond 90 shifty pretz back 2.

I've never really messed with those kinds of things on skis so I could be way off. If you had mean flex and shifty skills you could probably get it pretty close to 180 and still get a back 3 but that's pretty much a pretz 5 at that point with the 180 going the opposite direction. Even with your upper body turned for the spin, and a decent size jump, that's a lot going down.

If somebody through one in a comp I'd probably loose my shit

Fuck that's brilliant. Using the backflip as a consistent axis ao you don't have to completely stop your spin. People are able to to backflip backflip, 360 backflip. Or 360 backflip straight backflip. Etc. So it makes sense that you could do this. I feel you would need to go straight back though, so probably out for corks. Pretty fucking sweet though. Nice looks

wait, so they only need to pretz 360, not end up landing 360 the other way from starting? Absolutely doable on a snowboard. Not even that hard other than getting the last 40 on the first 180. That said on skis idk. Your ability to shifty is still kind of fucked. You can't really do a 180'd shifty and even bring it back to straight. So even close to 180, and getting the back 1 would be tough.

Post if anyone finds it though. I'd be keen to see it

I can see an off axis flip turning into a counter flip rotation. Something like a rodeo 9 to misty 5 or something. Anything else violates Newtons laws

This is a good idea, would it be possible to throw a corked flip over your left shoulder and then your right in the same jump? Somehow that seems easier or more logical. Can someone confirm because I'm not a park wizard
