Based off how your ski's look you probs ski on East Coast, white under the skis is usually from the ice. It's not destroying your skis but it's also a sign of bad wax, trying getting your ski's waxed again and those white marks should vanish.

Just get a super nice hot wax on that from your local ski shop

Is there any separation between base and edge? Or purely cosmetic?
Looks like base burn. Lots of good info on google about repairing that. You may have to take a razor blade and scrape off the white stuff before you wax em.

Base burn baby. I never trust a factory wax and always redo it myself

Looks like some oxidation. Get some warm wax on those skis and leave it to soak for a couple days. If you can afford it, occasionally let your skis set with wax on them and scrape your skis right before skiing.
All times are Eastern (-5)
