No slopestyle at x games Norway??

On the instagram, they said the events were Snowboard big air, Ski big air, and Skateboard street, are they trying to take a more city friendly approch? Or will there just be not enough snow?

Well the event is in May, thats one reason. Also, there was no slope last year either, I feel like it's suppose to appeal to more people and have a "crossover" of sports.

There definetly was slope last year, Oystein won back to back (Aspen & Norway). Last year they held it mid-winter at Hafjell ski resort though, this year they are moving it back to Oslo; Where the Big Air comps will be held on a scaffolding-jump. (And as said, in May. Spanning over Norway's consitution day; the biggest festivity of the year).

Pretty insane they're paying all the money to build the jump and only invite 8 skiers.... Its not really Xgames in my opinion, its the Norwegian Government or sports department licensing the Xgames name. It was sick two years ago when they did the Big air in downtown Oslo with 24 invited riders and mid winter so the snow was perfect.

Hmm maybe I'm thinking of something else, maybe it was two years ago was just pipe and big air?

not enough snow? more like too much, we are having a great fucking winter. my local has over 3 meters of snow, and that is way over average. all of norway have been full of snow this year, Downtown Oslo has been great for urban. Krypto and Bmack did some urban earlier before it got dirty

Hmm, I like the sound of may. Haven't been to Norway in almost 2 years. I could use a reason to go back. Also wanted to catch X there but it was always in the winter. Maybe I'll send er.
