SuckMySkisImagine a normal cork5, no grabs. Then just ad a sinple 180. So at the end you do a 720 which is not a normal 720 nor cork720.it would actually be a cork 7. Definitely not a traditional cork 7, but still cork. And since the 180 is on axis, the trick would be a single, not a double. And how exactly does 540 + 180 = 360?
chef_boyardeeAnd how exactly does 540 + 180 = 360?
SuckMySkisWhat? I wrote adding 180 to a cork5 is a 720my bad then, i was referring to the title (double cork 3)

SofaKingSick...and then he's pondering about a trick where you basically do a single cork 5, but then keep rotating and take it to 7. so in that case it'd just be a weird (single) cork 7 because there was only one cork as chef_boyardee said here^.
now OP, double cork *sevens* exist, which basically looks like two cork 3s in a row (cause that's what they are). but if you do a single cork and you do a 7, it doesn't matter how you do it, it's just a different take on a cork 7. people have even done rodeo 7 type tricks which basically look like a flip INTO a 360...very weird!
am i on the right track here?

HolteI immediately thought of JP's trick in... uhhh... some PBP movie a decade ago?
It took me like 20 minutes to find this. JP's segment in Ski Porn ended with a backflip to 360 that has stuck in my mind for years. The whole seg is cool history, but this specific trick is at 6:49.

SofaKingSickthird shot? that's a double cork 7
trick names like cork and misty include the total rotations in the name. that's why a double cork 10 is a 7 into a 3 with two corks. a misty 7 is an off axis front flip with a 360
SuckMySkisAw shit i never thought about it that way... Now that you said it all makes sense now and i feel like a dumbass. Fuck me its really obvious.
Move along ppl nothnig to see here
nostreboRBetter yet, do a double cork zero spin. You go up in the air and wobble side to side a couple times.
