I search anything about Mike D, photos, videos, segment names, etc. He was my first inspiration but he stopped brutally and I can't find anything than the usual YouTube videos... Do you have anything saved or some links ? Would be awesome. I am so nostalgic about this, such a throwback...

Heard he was arrested for drug trafficking shortly after the second US open win. Did quite a long stay in the slammer in Switzerland. Could be wrong...

Yeah, he struggled for a long time with drug and alcohol addiction. He went to jail and rehab. If I understood correctly, he never started skiing again because it revived bad memories... Such a waste of talent, I wonder how good he would be today if he never stopped.

In French the short name for Mickael is usually Mike
