Good Ski for pow and tracked out snow

I've been on line sick day 110s for the past 3 seasons, and I think this season will be their last. As I've started to ski more agressively I find that the sick day just cant handle being driven through crud and tracked out snow. I find that it gets deflected around every which way and doesn't feel very stable at speed. I'm 6'1" 190lbs and I primarily ski the Canadian rockies. I've been looking at the ON3P billygoat but to be honest I'm worried it might be too much ski for me (ie. TOO stiff). I've also been checking out the 186 ON3P kartel 116, do you think this ski would handle what I'm looking for? Any other suggestions for a ski that can float powder and be moderately playful but also slash through everything by the end of the day when it's all tracked up??? THANKS

Nordica Enforcer 110. I'm a similar height/weight and I demoed them in Big White for 3 days and loved em.

BASEDJAHit sounds like you need a heavier ski


just looking at the per-ski weights, it appears that the kartels would be a major improvement, and the billygoats would be approaching absolute truck level.

Where are you from? Most shops that sell Nordica would have a set mounted up for demos. If not, you could try the 100 - it shares the same construction and sidecut, so you could get a decent idea of how the skis feel.

Huge fan of my 4frnt Devestators (108). Such a good all mtn ski though i'd def put them on the heavier side as well as some of the stiffer skis i've skied in a long time in that category. Would buy these again in a heartbeat. Though I think the camber profile of this ski definitely isn't for everyone.

yeah dude go big. I'm your height but about 30 pounds lighter and I ski on 187 YLE's no problem.

k fuck it getting a 189 billygoat. anybody think they will go on sale before on3p releases their 2019 lineup? or should i just drop the cash now.

i tested the bgs and they were great. it was absolutely sh*t conditions and everything was SOLID ICE. they handled it almost as well as my enforcers. but when i took em to some softer stuff they floated like a dream. i’m 6’2” and skied the 184 and it was perfect

The kartel's rocker make them chatter a bit when charging through the crud, I would imagine BGs would be better for that, also better for charging pow when it gets gnarly. They definitely would not be too stiff for you.
