NodesEerieI normally ski with my din set to 6. What kind of binding would be appropriate for these settings?
I wanted some room to go up in case I get heavier.
Yeah, all the people hating need to learn to read haha!
I'm no expert, but generally you want your DIN to be somewhere near the middle of what the binding offers. So, for instance, you don't want to run a 13 on a binding that only goes up to 13, or 6 on a binding that only goes down to 6. However, I'm not really sure how much that argument should carry. If it passes a release test, it passes a release test.
For what you're talking about, I'd recommend either Tyrolia AAATack 13's or Salomon Warden or STH 13's. I just like how easy it is to get in and out of those bindings, and have a lot of days on both with no issues. But Markers are fine too (and often cheaper) they just don't feel quite so easy to get in and out of (and I did blow up a pair of squires right when I started, which unfairly biases me).
What size Caylors? And where do you ski!?
